FRACTIONAL CMO · GO-TO-MARKET CONSULTING
A go-to-market consultant that builds the engine and stays to run it.
Your business is at an inflection point, and the next stage of growth runs on go-to-market. I find where growth is stalling across sales, product, and marketing, build the engine that fixes it, and hand you the AI workforce that runs it. This is the go-to-market work I lead inside your business as your fractional CMO.
YOUR GROWTH IS A GO-TO-MARKET DECISION
Your next stage of growth comes down to go-to-market strategy.
What separates the companies that break through your stage from the ones that stall is rarely effort. It’s go-to-market strategy: where the real demand is, how you reach buyers who don’t already know you, and how the whole company moves to capture them. Get it right and growth compounds. Get it wrong and it quietly caps, no matter how hard the team runs.
The strategy that carried you this far is not the one that scales you from here. Growth at this stage runs on a repeatable engine that creates demand. Some of that engine is already in place for you. Some of it hasn’t been built yet, because until now you didn’t need it.
And if you sell both software and services, the strategy has more to carry. You’re running two motions at once, and the difference between growth that compounds and growth that flattens is whether they’re built to pull in the same direction.
WHY GROWTH STALLS HERE
You can usually feel it before you can name it.
Across four-acquisition integrations, a dozen-brand portfolio, and a customer base grown past half a million, I keep seeing the same themes. The engine that builds a company, its relationships, its reputation, the founder in every deal, is rarely the engine that scales it. Businesses excellent at what they do go quietly invisible to the buyers who don’t already know them. And the specialized marketing a company needs tends to arrive right when it can least afford to hire it.
It shows up in ways you’d recognize:
Your point of view doesn’t stand apart. Deals slide into price and feature fights, because buyers can’t tell why you’re the better choice.
Competitors who aren’t better than you are taking share, because they’re easier to find and quicker to trust.
You can’t forecast two quarters out with confidence.
You’re last into the deal cycle. You respond to demand others created instead of creating your own.
Sales, product, and marketing tell slightly different stories, and your buyer feels every seam between them.
Growth has gone reactive. You hire to patch what breaks instead of building ahead of it.
Each one traces back to the same place: a go-to-market that hasn’t kept pace with where the company is now. Rebuilding it is my work.
THE OUTCOME
What an aligned go-to-market produces.
What stops people is the belief that this is engineering. It isn’t. The skills that get you started are ones you likely already have.
01
Pipeline Visibility
One view of the numbers, so you can see what’s real and forecast with confidence.
02
Pipeline Growth
Demand creation and conversion built to feed each other, so pipeline grows predictably instead of in bursts.
03
Cohesive Positioning
One clear story across software and services, so every buyer meets the same company.
04
Growth that Compounds
An engine that gets stronger as it runs, not one that depends on who is available that quarter.
WAYS TO WORK WITH ME
Three ways to work with me on go-to-market.
There are three ways to bring me in, from a focused diagnosis to a leader in the seat. Each one starts with the strategy and ends with an engine that runs.
Focused diagnosis
01
GTM Diagnostic Assessment
A focused read on where your go-to-market is costing you growth, and what to fix first. You leave with the specific constraints holding the number back, ranked by impact, and a ninety-day path to move on them. It replaces a vague sense that something is off with a clear, sequenced decision, before you commit to a larger build. Because go-to-market cuts across functions, it works best with your C-suite in the room: the CEO, the CRO or head of sales, and the head of product.
The fee is credited toward a consulting or fractional engagement if you move forward.
Defined engagement
02
GTM Consulting
Strategy and build, delivered as a defined engagement rather than an ongoing seat. I design the go-to-market for the stage you are growing into, then build the Revenue Operations underneath it so sales and marketing finally run on one set of numbers. This is where the AI workforce earns its place: trained employees that run demand and revenue operations day to day, giving you the output of a full team without funding one. You get real visibility too, one clear read on pipeline and performance you can take into a board meeting.
You are left with a revenue engine that keeps running after the engagement ends.
Leader in the seat
03
GTM inside my Fractional CMO engagement
The fullest version, with me in the seat as your fractional CMO. I lead the go-to-market from inside your business, build the engine and the AI workforce alongside your team, and stay to run it until your own capability is ready to take over. You get senior commercial leadership now, the strategy and the workforce built around it, and a clear path to owning all of it.
The choice when go-to-market is the priority and you want a leader accountable for it, not just advice on it.
Not sure which fits? We’ll figure it out on the call.
WHY ME
I’ve built this inside companies like yours, not just advised on it.
I’m Sheera Eby, a fractional CMO and go-to-market consultant, and a GTM OS Certified Partner. Naming the go-to-market problem is the easy part, and every advisor can do it. Building the aligned engine after the deck closes is the hard part, and it takes someone who has done it from inside.
I’ve rebuilt go-to-market through four acquisition integrations, across a private-equity portfolio of a dozen brands, and inside global organizations restructuring how they operate. I didn’t advise on those from the outside. I built the operating processes and ran the function through the change. A company that’s PE-backed, post-acquisition, or standing up real go-to-market for the first time is describing situations I’ve worked inside more than once.
I also build with AI, not just use it. I build lead magnets, quizzes, assessments, and dashboards. The workforce I install for you is the same kind I run in my own business every day. That means two things: I can show you the work rather than pitch it, and I’ve done the thing you’re trying to do, so I understand what it actually takes.
The GTM OS certification gives me the shared framework. The operating record is what separates the work.
OWNERSHIP
You Own What I Build
The AI agents stay with your company.
The engagement is built to end. What it produces is built to last.
Questions I get asked.
Adding AI tools to a workflow that was never built for demand produces more activity, not more pipeline. I don’t hand you tools. I build the go-to-market strategy and the engines first, then install trained AI employees that run defined roles inside them, with a person in the loop. The strategy is what makes the AI produce pipeline instead of noise.
Hiring a CMO plus the demand, content, and operations roles around them takes most of a year to assemble and make productive, and at your stage it’s rarely affordable. I bring the senior leadership now and build the AI workforce that does the execution, so you get the full function without the full headcount or the year-long ramp.
You keep everything. The strategy, the engines, and the AI workforce stay with your company and keep running under your governance. As your team grows into the work, my role scales down. If you bring on an internal leader, the workforce transitions to them intact. The engagement is built to end.
A go-to-market consultant or advisor usually hands you a diagnosis and a roadmap, then leaves you to execute it. I don’t stop there. As a fractional CMO, I’m in the work, building the strategy and the engines and running them with your team. I’ve done it inside real companies going through exactly these transitions: acquisition integrations, multi-brand private-equity portfolios, and organizations standing up their operating processes for the first time. And I build the AI workforce myself, in my own business, so I can show you the work rather than pitch it.
It would be, done carelessly. Every workflow I build keeps a person in the loop on the decisions that matter, and brand consistency and data governance are designed in from the start, not bolted on. You stay in control of the calls only a person should make.
LET’S TALK
Let’s talk about your go-to-market.
If your growth has outrun the way your go-to-market is built, that’s the conversation I have every day. Tell me where you are, and I’ll be straight with you about whether I can help.
